At the general meeting 15th June 2020, Patrick Wies, Partner & Head of Public Sector at KPMG, will become the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg asbl. Mr. Wies will join the Board of Directors as a member in 2015.
“Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg, an association that celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, has experienced a positive and very significant development. Today, recognised by schools, high schools, various ministries and above all supported by an impressive network of motivated and very committed volunteers, the association is enjoying tremendous success with its main “clients”: young people.
I would like to warmly thank Charles Denotte for his commitment and dedication as Chairman of the Board of Directors. I would also like to take the opportunity of our 15th anniversary to thank the “former” Presidents of the Association, Messrs Yves Elsen and Norbert Friob.
It is with great pleasure that I have agreed to take over this mandate. I am particularly pleased to be able to contribute to the realisation of an action plan that we have been able to determine over the past few months at several strategic workshops with the members of the Board of Directors and the management”, says Mr. Wies.
Charles Denotte joined the Board of Directors of Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg asbl as a member in 2008 and served as Chairman of the Board from 2013 to 2020.
“It is with pride, and with a small twinge in my heart, that I pass the torch, after twelve years as a member and Chairman of the Board of Directors, to my dear colleague and current member of the Board of Directors, Mr Patrick Wies. I wish him as much pleasure as I have had in watching young people develop their talent, show their dynamism and understand and experience entrepreneurship,” he says.
