Innovation Camp with CFL

Tomorrow's recruitment

“Imagine you’re in your last year of school and you’re looking for your first job in 2030. How would you like your recruitment experience to be as a candidate?” This was the Business Challenge presented by CFL to 40 high school students at the 27th Innovation Camp.

Guided by experts

To help them design their project, the young people were able to count on the support of several CFL employees, who were happy to share their knowledge and experience:

  • Claude Goerens, HR Marketing Manager
  • Catia Pereira, Recruitment and Internal Mobility Manager
  • Kristina Kau, Recruiter
  • Lidia Schammo, Recruiter
  • Stéphanie Marques, Recruiter

Choosing the three best projects

The students had all day to think about the proposed theme!

A panel of judges then selected the three best ideas:

  • Joya Blum, HR Marketing Manager
  • Armelle Kails, Head of Recruitment & Career Support
  • Yves Baden, Human Resources Director
  • Aurea Patricio, Head of Recruitment & Internal Mobility Division

The winning groups

First place: the Luxembourg-based Pathways to the Future project, which proposed the integration of VR headsets and Artificial Intelligence in the recruitment and training of new candidates.

Second place: the idea of using Artificial Intelligence to optimize recruitment for both CFL and candidates.

Third place: the group put forward proposals to improve the attractiveness of the company to the younger generation with a modern communications strategy using social media.
