Junior Project Awards 2025

The Junior Project Awards (JPA) 2025 were held at the Chamber of Commerce on Thursday 26 June. The aim of the event is to highlight and reward the best projects undertaken by high school students during the 2024-2025 academic year.

An initiative open to two age categories!

Two competitions are being organised: one for the lower cycle (pupils in classes 7 to 5) and one for the upper cycle (pupils in classes 4 to 2).

Out of a total of 40 teams entered, the jury finally named 14 finalists: 5 from the lower cycle (Maacher Lycée, LTA) and 9 from the upper cycle (CDSE, ECG, EPF, EPMC, ISL, LAML).

The terms and conditions were the same for both age categories.

Managing a project professionally

The aim of this action is to encourage project management, develop students’ autonomy and instil a taste for challenge. Given that the ability to plan and manage a project effectively is now one of the key skills required in all professional environments, this programme gives young people the opportunity to develop soft skills that are in demand in the world of work. To take part, students had to write and submit a full dossier and a video about their project, and present it to an audience and a panel of judges.

The jury
