New ideas for an inclusive and sustainable city
Innovation Camp, in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Diversity
Luxembourg, 13 November 2025 – How can we envision a city where everyone – women, men and people of all gender identities – feels represented and valued? This essential question formed the basis of a new edition of Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg’s Innovation Camp, which took place at the House of Startups in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Diversity.
Held two to three times a year and open to students aged 16 and above, Innovation Camp offers an immersive day during which participants must tackle a real entrepreneurial challenge. Divided into mixed, random groups, they have a few hours to imagine, design and present an innovative solution. This programme encourages entrepreneurial education while promoting creativity, imagination and the potential of young people.
An ambitious challenge: Building the inclusive cities of tomorrow
Ten teams made up of young people aged 16 to 19 enthusiastically took up the challenge. The day began at 8.30 am with an inspiring presentation by the ministry. At 10 a.m., the participants joined their groups and began an intense brainstorming session, with four hours to develop their solution before presenting it to a jury composed of Ann Muller (LUGA), Annemie Maquil (VDL), Carmen Niethammer (EID), Sven Baltes (JEL) and Tom Becker (Uni.lu). The event concluded with the final presentations and the award ceremony.
