The 2026–2027 Start-up Programme has been kicked off!
Over 200 students came together to bring their business ideas to life
The new edition of JEL’s Startup Programme 2026–2027 has officially been launched!
During the week of 28 September, more than 200 students gathered for the kick-off event, a day dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity.
A day full of inspiration and learning
The programme for this launch day included several talks and workshops designed to give participants the initial tools they need to turn their ideas into concrete projects.
In particular, participants attended a keynote from the House of Sustainability, featuring Sabrina Kohn, as well as a keynote on artificial intelligence, led by Johanna Mio from Clear Thinking.
The day also featured a session with our Alumni Committee, represented by Emma Lutgen, who shared her experience and advice with the budding entrepreneurs.
Finally, a workshop on innovation and Design Thinking enabled the teams to put the concepts discussed throughout the day directly into practice.
To round off this intense day, the various teams presented their initial findings during a pitch session.
This was a first opportunity for participants to compare their ideas, refine their presentations and receive initial feedback.
And this is just the beginning!
Next step: the teams’ first pitch to the judging panel at the House of Startups.
The teams are now being supported by their coaches to develop their projects and prepare for their first major milestone: the official pitch session in front of a judging panel.
This new stage will enable participants to present their projects, receive feedback and continue to develop their ideas.
The competition is on. So are the ideas.
