Sustainable Entrepreneurial Schools

The Sustainable Entrepreneurial School project is an initiative of the “Service de la Coordination de la Recherche et de l’Innovation pédagogiques et technologiques” (SCRIPT) in collaboration with the “Direction générale des Classes Moyennes”. The non-profit organisation Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg acts as project manager.

The objective is to support high schools that are committed to promoting entrepreneurial spirit and financial education, guidance and sustainable development. By organising different activities throughout the school year (workshops, mini-workshops, conferences, competitions, visits and challenges etc.), the schools have the opportunity to be awarded a label of excellence.

This project promotes the Sustainable Entrepreneurial Competence (SEC), which enables students to acquire hard skills, but also the key skills of the 21st century: communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. At the same time, young people’s initiative and capacity for innovation are strengthened.

The platform www.entrepreneurship.lu has been specially created to connect high schools and partners in the economy who are committed to developing this Sustainable Entrepreneurial Competence. In this way, teachers can search for thematic activities offered by external partners.

An important element of the project are the “You(th)Start Challenges“. The related material is ready to be used by the teachers and can be included in different courses in a transversal way. Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg asbl has the expertise to implement these challenges and offers training to teachers.
