The mini-company final is an exciting event where the crème de la crème of the Mini-Company Competition is determined. Every year, more than 60 mini-companies from various schools go head-to-head, vying for the esteemed title of "Best Mini-Company of the year." However, this competition isn't just about claiming the top spot; there are also thematic awards up for grabs, ranging from marketing and finance to business plan and social entrepreneurship.
The finalists get a unique opportunity to showcase their products or services at the Shopping Center Kirchberg, where they set up impressive sales stands. But that's not all! They also have to impress a discerning jury by pitching their ideas at Kinepolis Kirchberg. The anticipation thickens as the event reaches its peak with the eagerly awaited awards ceremony. It's a fantastic celebration of talent, innovation, and hard work, where the winners are applauded and their achievements recognized.
Programme description:
The "Mini-Company" programme offers students aged 16 to 19 the opportunity to learn how to bring a business idea from concept to reality.
By challenging high school students to solve a problem in their community through a commercial enterprise, the program unleashes their entrepreneurial spirit and helps them discover their talents, passions, and interests.
While students experience managing their own business, they are accompanied by a teacher and a professional coach. Thus, the mini-enterprise program brings a break from the traditional image of classes: usually passive receivers, students become actors in their project throughout the school year.
