The Mini-Company Sale is an important event for our mini-entrepreneurs, who can present and sell their products or services to passing customers at the “Belle-Etoile” shopping center.
During the Mini-Company Sale, the JEL Alumni (former participants in our programmes) award a prize to the best stand. This prize rewards the creativity and energy that the mini-entrepreneurs have put into decorating their stand, the quality of their product, their sales technique, and so on. What's more, by taking part in the Public Choice Award (where you select your favorite Mini-Enterprise), you stand a chance of winning ... AH! Want to know what? Then come to La Belle Etoile and find out! 😉
Programme description:
The "Mini-Company" programme offers students aged 16 to 19 the opportunity to learn how to bring a business idea from concept to reality.
By challenging high school students to solve a problem in their community through a commercial enterprise, the program unleashes their entrepreneurial spirit and helps them discover their talents, passions, and interests.
While students experience managing their own business, they are accompanied by a teacher and a professional coach. Thus, the mini-enterprise program brings a break from the traditional image of classes: usually passive receivers, students become actors in their project throughout the school year.
