Mini-Company Finals 2025 – The finalists

The 16 finalists
On May 22, 2025, the best mini-companies of the 2024–2025 school year will come together for the National Final of the Mini-Companies.
Out of the 117 teams that started at the beginning of the year, 16 finalists will have the opportunity to present their project during an exceptional day.
The final will take place in two parts:
A trade fair at the Kirchberg Shopping Center, where the teams will showcase their products and services.
Then, a pitch in front of a jury at Kinepolis Kirchberg, during which they will defend their project.
The whole event is open to the public and our young entrepreneurs would be delighted to count on your presence and support.
At the end of the day, the jury will designate the winning team, which will have the honor of representing Luxembourg at the Gen-E European competition, organized by JA Europe.

The 16 finalists
Elegantly Safe – Ecole de Commerce et de Gestion
“We design elegant wristbands in stainless steel (gold- or silver-plated) incorporating a discreet compartment for testing drinks. Thanks to a quick and easy detection system for dangerous substances (drugs), our product combines safety and style for going out. Primarily aimed at women aged 16 to 35 who frequent bars and clubs, our bracelet meets a real need for protection in these high-risk environments. Customer feedback has enabled us to refine our offer and adapt our solution to the expectations of our target group”.

Feel It – Lycée classique de Diekirch
“Feel It is a mini-company set up by three 3e students at the Lycée classique in Diekirch, with the aim of developing a truly inclusive board game. Inspired by the challenges experienced by Noémie, a member of our team who is blind, we designed a game that enables blind and sighted people to play together on an equal footing. Feel It is much more than just a game: it’s a sensory and social experience. Using tactile wooden letters, embossed cards, an hourglass (with a digital version for the visually impaired) and recycled denim bags, we offer a fun, accessible, sustainable and locally produced solution”.

Festiv Kids – International School – Lycée Michel Lucius
“It all started with an idea: to create an innovative service in Luxembourg, where the supply of entertainment for children was limited despite growing demand. We identified this need and decided to meet it by offering unique, child-friendly entertainment. Our mission is simply to turn every event into a memorable experience for the children and a moment of tranquility for the parents”.

Fruize – Lycée Aline Mayrisch
“Fruize is a mini-company founded by seven friends from the Lycée Aline Mayrisch with a shared passion for healthy and delicious snacks. Our aim is to offer a nutritious, practical and natural alternative for breakfast and snacks on the go. We specialise in dehydrated fruit mixes, each paired with our homemade granola, guaranteeing a crunchy, tasty and energy-packed experience.”

Leftlovers – Lycée Aline Mayrisch
“LeftLovers is a team of five young enthusiasts driven by a clear mission: to reduce food waste and social inequality in Luxembourg. Our online platform enables local traders to sell their still perfectly good produce at a reduced price, in the form of “surprise bags”. Consumers can order easily online, pick up their bags directly in shop and discover new products, while reducing their ecological footprint – and their expenses. Our solution is beneficial for everyone: the shopkeeper adds value to his products, the customer saves money and the planet is less impacted”.

Lët’z Vroom – Lycée Michel-Rodange Luxembourg
“Lët’z Vroom is an innovative project that offers an educational and interactive play rug for children, highlighting Luxembourg’s cultural and urban heritage. This playful product presents a detailed representation of the streets, monuments and emblematic places of the country, aiming to spark the curiosity of the youngest while stimulating their imagination.
Designed for use at home, in crèches or at school, this rug is both an educational tool and an entertainment object. It encourages learning through play and allows children to discover Luxembourg in a sensory and visual way”.

LetzLearn – Athénée de Luxembourg
“LetzLearn is a mobile application for learning Luxembourgish, designed to meet the needs of a varied audience: new residents, cross-border commuters, candidates for
nationality, and young students. The application includes interactive exercises, a comprehensive dictionary, smart cards and a premium version with content on Luxembourg culture, history and politics, as well as specific exercises to prepare for the naturalisation exam.
LetzLearn stands out for its fun, personalised and structured approach, inspired by models such as Duolingo, while incorporating needs that are very specific to the Luxembourg context”.

Lëtz Mag – Ecole Internationale de Mondorf-les-Bains
“LëtzMag is a mini-company launched by six students from the International School of Mondorf-les-Bains, with the aim of promoting the Luxembourgish culture to children through an educational and entertaining medium. In a context where screens are omnipresent from an early age, we have designed an illustrated a paper magazine, available in French and Lëtzebuergesch, aimed at children in primary education.
Each kit includes a 12-page magazine with games, colouring pictures, comics and recipes, packaged with pencils in a pouch”.

Lëtz Pack – Ecole Privée Fieldgen
“LëtzPack is a mini-company born of a concrete commitment: to offer a sustainable, practical and innovative solution to everyday shopping. Faced with growing environmental concerns and the end of plastic bags in Luxembourg shops, our team came up with a reusable bag with two functions.
Our flagship product is a set of two shopping bags that can be used separately or combined thanks to a Velcro system, creating a large bag with two compartments. This modularity makes it possible to organise purchases efficiently according to their type or weight, while making them easier to transport thanks to the stabilising wooden bars”.

LëtzRetyre – Lycée Michel-Rodange Luxembourg
“We are a group of six committed students from different 2e classes at the Lycée Michel-Rodange. Together, we have founded an eco-responsible mini-company called “LëtzRetyre”. At LëtzRetyre, we are reinventing the way used tyres are managed. Instead of letting them end up in landfill or being incinerated, we give them a second life by transforming them into elegant and functional seating. We wrap them in sisal rope, a natural and sustainable material, helping to reduce waste while creating unique, handmade products that respect the environment.
Our mission is simple and clear: rethink, recycle, relax”.

Lucillin – Lycée Robert Schuman Luxembourg
“Lucillin is not just a skincare project – it’s a student-led initiative that bridges science, sustainability and entrepreneurship. Created by four 17-year-old students from a Luxembourg science department, Lucillin was born out of a desire to create products that are both meaningful and conscious. In a market full of trendy beauty products and confusing ingredient lists,
our solution is simple: transparency, education and effectiveness. Our range includes a cleanser, moisturizer and lip balm, all formulated in-house using local ingredients such as Luxembourg thermal spring water, honey and propolis. But what really sets Lucillin apart is our commitment to educating our customers – through educational ingredient sheets, we explain how and why each product works at a scientific level.”

Pure Plus – Lycée classique de Diekirch
“Pure Plus is an isotonic drink developed by students at the Lycée Classique de Diekirch as part of a school project. The aim of the project was to bring to the market a drink that is both healthy and good for performance, particularly for sports enthusiasts. The drink has been specially designed to provide optimum support for the body during and after physical effort. Pure Plus balances hydration and electrolyte balance. It provides essential vitamins and minerals and thus contributes to faster recovery and better performance”.

Rescue Rush – Lycée des Arts et Métiers
“Rescue Rush is an educational board game that teaches children aged 8-13 essential first aid skills through engaging gameplay. Players become paramedics responding to different emergency scenarios across Luxembourg, using cards representing medical supplies to help patients while learning prevention strategies”.

Revenz – Lycée classique de Diekirch
“Luxembourg has a lot to offer, but too little is visible. Gastronomy, culture and events are abundant, but scattered information and outdated platforms make it difficult to find your way around. Especially for tourists and the more than 230,000 cross-border commuters who visit the country every day. For their part, service providers have little digital visibility and find it hard to reach their target audience. Revenz solves this problem. Our platform is free for all users and brings together gastronomy, events and culture in a centralised, clear and multilingual way. An interactive map and filters allow you to find targeted leisure offers”.

Sorbäh – Maacher Lycée Grevenmacher
“Sorbäh is a sustainable, vegan sorbet with no artificial additives. We use anti-waste fruit, local ingredients and plastic-free packaging to reduce food waste and environmental impact. Our message: ‘Natural, sustainable, delicious – enjoy a sorbet with a conscience!’ We currently offer a choice of 3 flavours: apple-cinnamon, tutti-frutti, banana-cocoa”.

Volunteens – Lycée Michel-Rodange Luxembourg
“Every year, hundreds of cultural and sporting events in Luxembourg are threatened by a growing lack of volunteers. Organisers are struggling to mobilise people, particularly young people, who are less and less inclined to volunteer.
VolunTeens offers an innovative solution to this challenge: a platform that connects event organisers with students looking for flexible, one-off work opportunities. Unlike traditional volunteering, our model is based on fair remuneration, enabling them to supplement their pocket money, while raising awareness among young people of the value of community involvement”.
