Creativity Camp

Over 250 students came together to kick off their entrepreneurial journey!

On 5 and 6 October, over 250 students gathered at the Rockhal for this year’s Creativity Camp, an inspiring kickoff event dedicated to entrepreneurship and creativity.

The Creativity Camp offered a dynamic mix of inspiring keynotes and hands-on workshops, giving students the first tools and insights needed to transform their ideas into real entrepreneurial projects.

Inspiration from Entrepreneurs and Experts

Throughout the event, the students had the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals who shared their knowledge, personal experiences and advice.

Sven Baltes, Director of JEL, focused on innovation and market needs, encouraging students to think beyond their initial ideas, understand real customer challenges and develop solutions that create value.

Pascal Wiscour-Conter from LSB explored the role of Artificial Intelligence in entrepreneurship, highlighting the opportunities AI creates for young innovators.

Tanyth Blackler from DoYourThing shared her experiences as an entrepreneur and coach in an inspiring motivational talk, encouraging participants to believe in their ideas, embrace challenges and take the first steps on their entrepreneurial journey.

Lastly, representing JEL’s Alumni Committee, Emma Lutgen offered valuable insights into her own entrepreneurial experience, sharing practical advice and encouraging the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

From Creativity to Concrete Ideas

Beyond the keynotes, students had the opportunity to put their creativity into action during an interactive Innovation and Design Thinking workshop.

From empathising to ideating, participants explored different stages of the creative process through hands-on activities. Working in teams, they learned how to better understand potential customers, identify real-world problems and generate innovative solutions.

To close the Creativity Camp, the teams stepped into the spotlight for their first pitching session, presenting the initial results of their teamwork and sharing their ideas with fellow participants.

What’s Next? From Ideas to Business Plans!

The Creativity Camp was just the beginning! With their first ideas taking shape, the young entrepreneurs are now moving on to the next stage of the programme: developing their business plans.

Supported by their teachers and volunteer coaches, the teams will continue refining their concepts and building the foundations of their Mini-Entreprises.

Along the way, they will benefit from a variety of training opportunities from experts and professionals from different fields. Over the coming months, the students will continue turning their ideas into concrete projects, gaining valuable experience and discovering what it takes to build and run their own businesses.

We look forward to following their progress, discovering their innovative solutions and seeing their entrepreneurial ideas come to life.
