The Engineering Trainee Days programme aims to introduce young people to STEM professions and encourage them to explore careers in these fields by giving them the opportunity to spend two full days alongside an engineer, scientist or other STEM professional.
The programme is open to students aged 16 and above who are interested in engineering and scientific careers. It gives them the opportunity to experience the daily work of a STEM professional first-hand and gain insight into the professional, linguistic and interpersonal skills and requirements associated with these careers.
The programme is a joint initiative of the Association Ingénieurs et Scientifiques du Luxembourg asbl and Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg (JEL), with the support of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth.
The Engineering Trainee Days 2027 will take place during the week of 22–26 March 2027.
